Job Description

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Own technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, content strategy, and authority building. Improve rankings for relevant, high-intent searches around bill reminders, budgeting, expense tracking, and family finance. Identify competitor gaps and build a prioritized growth roadmap. Work with developers to improve crawlability, indexing, site structure, internal linking, structured data, and page performance. Develop useful product pages, comparison pages, guides, and other content that drives discovery and conversion. 2. AI Search Visibility (AEO/GEO) Develop and execute an Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization strategy. Improve TimelyBills visibility in relevant answers and recommendations across ChatGPT, Google AI search experiences, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and other emerging platforms. Identify the questions users ask when researching finance apps and create accurate, useful content that answers them. Strengthen brand credibility through consistent product information, relevant third-party coverage, and authoritative references. Track brand mentions, citations, competitor presence, and referral traffic using a repeatable set of relevant queries. Run experiments and explain results clearly, including measurement limitations. 3. App Store Optimization (ASO) Own organic discovery and listing conversion across Google Play and the Apple App Store. Optimize app titles, descriptions, keywords where supported, screenshots, and other listing assets. Conduct competitor research and identify keyword opportunities by market. Work with designers to test creative assets and improve store listing conversion. Develop localization strategies for priority countries and languages. 4. Targets, Analytics & Execution Establish baseline performance and agree on measurable monthly and quarterly targets. Connect organic acquisition to app installs, sign-ups, activation, trials, and paid subscriptions wherever attribution is available. Maintain a clear dashboard and provide concise weekly progress updates. Own execution, coordinate with content, design, and engineering teams, and adjust priorities based on results. What we are looking for Proven results growing organic traffic and relevant keyword rankings. Hands-on ASO experience for both Android and iOS apps. Practical AI search optimization experience, supported by examples and a clear measurement approach. Strong understanding of search intent, technical SEO, content quality, and conversion optimization. Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or comparable platforms. Strong writing, analytical, prioritization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver against agreed targets. Experience with consumer apps, fintech, subscription products, or international markets is preferred. Commitment to sustainable practices and accurate content. How success will be measured Growth in qualified, non-branded organic traffic. Improved visibility for agreed priority keywords. Increased AI answer mentions and citations across a defined query set. Growth in organic app installs and store listing conversion. Improvement in organic user activation and paid conversion, working with the product team.
