Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Current unencumbered RN license required Certifications: Healthcare Provider Level BLS required Must-Have: ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required; CEN preferred Description: The Emergency Department provides care for patients with a wide variety of needs from non-critical to emergent medical conditions. The department includes emergent and urgent mental health care. All patients are welcome whether walking in or arriving by emergency transport. All staff are certified to care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.
