As a Host, you help guests feel welcome before they reach the table. You bring warmth, organization and clear communication to Centrale’s entrance, working with the Maître d and service team to make arrivals, seating and departures feel smooth and personal.

• Greet guests promptly and professionally, confirm reservation details and guide them through the arrival and seating process.
• Use the reservation system accurately and keep the door team informed about guest arrivals and table status.
• Communicate wait times and seating information clearly, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere during busy periods.
• Identify timing needs, celebrations and other relevant guest requests, and pass them to the appropriate manager and service team.
• Escort guests to the table, present current menus and follow the restaurant’s seating standards.
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, runners and management to support organized, well-paced service.
• Keep the entrance and host station neat and prepared, completing assigned opening, shift-change and closing work.
• Respond to questions with care, involve a manager when needed and offer every departing guest a warm farewell.

• A genuine interest in hospitality, strong communication and a dependable work ethic.
• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable, with willingness to learn Centrale’s setup.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm, organized and welcoming under pressure.
• An understanding of fast-paced restaurant service and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Weekend availability.
